JOINING STRUCTURE OF PRECAST CONCRETE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a precast concrete member capable of transmitting force to relatively large deformation such as an earthquake, without restricting relatively small deformation by drying/contraction and a temperature change in concrete. SOLUTION: An anchor bar 2 is projected from a lower precast concrete member 1 being a wall or a columna material. A steel pipe 4 is embedded in an upper precast concrete member 3 placed as a beam or a floor slab. An elastic covering material 5 formed of a foam rubber sponge of about t = 3 mm, is installed on the whole outer peripheral surface of the anchor bar 2. Shrinkage-compensating mortar 6 is filled in a void between the anchor bar 2 and an inner surface of the steel pipe 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
