PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the occurrence of aldehyde by addition in a small amount without changing a resin in color even using adding to a polyacetal resin. SOLUTION: An aldehyde suppresser composition for suppressing the occurrence of aldehyde from an aldehyde generating source is constituted of a carboxylic acid hydrazide, and 0.01 to 100 pts.wt. of hydroxy polyvalent carboxylate of a metal (salts or others of citric acid, malic acid, and tartaric acid and alkaline earth metals) relative to 1 pts.wt. of the carboxylic acid hydrazide. A polyacetal resin composition may be constituted by combining 100 pts.wt. of the polyacetal resin and 0.001 to 20 pts.wt. of the suppresser composition. An antioxidant, a heat-resistant stabilizer, a working stabilizer, a weather(light)-resistant stabilizer, an impact-resistance enhancer, a gloss suppresser, a slidability enhancer, a coloring agent, a filler or others may be added into the resin component.
