PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which can suppress wear on a power cord and a cord outlet. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the cord outlet 36 which enables at least a part of the power cord 13 pulled out to the outside of the vacuum cleaner body 1. By providing a cord outlet cover 23 which can change the pulling out direction of the power source cord 13 to the vacuum cleaner body 1, the cord outlet cover 23 follows the pulling out of the power cord 13, and wear between the power cord 13 and the cord outlet 36 when the power cord 13 is pulled out can be suppressed.
