<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member which is biodegradable and has enough heat resistance and mechanical strength and a method for producing the member. <P>SOLUTION: The member contains a biodegradable polymeric material as a main component. The degree of crystallinity of the polymeric material is at least 0.7.
