<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demultiplexer with which the number of data driver ICs can be decreased without reducing the data programming time and is suitable for a display device of high resolution, and to provide its method. <P>SOLUTION: The demultiplexer and the display device using the same are provided. The demultiplexer programs time-divided and sequentially inputted data currents to at least two signal lines. The demultiplexer includes first and second sample/hold circuits S1, 41, H1, S2, 42, H2 for alternately sampling the data currents and holding the sampled data, and third and fourth sample/hold circuits S3, 43, H3, S4, 44, and H4 for respectively sampling the sampled data held by the first and second sample/hold circuits S1, 41, H1, S2, 42, H2 and programming the currents which correspond to the sampled data to the two signal lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
