<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle lens antenna with less unwanted radiation which normally operates even in rainy weather and snowfall, by which even a road end is detected, and which is installed even at a narrow place on the rear side of a bumper for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A converging lens of the in-vehicle lens antenna is formed at a part of the bumper for the vehicle made of resin and a primary radiator of the in-vehicle lens antenna is arranged near a focus on the rear side of the bumper for the vehicle so that an in-vehicle radar device for the vehicle normally operates even in rainy weather and snowfall and even the road end is detected. Furthermore, the radiation angle of the primary radiator is set to an angle smaller than the one to satisfy the effective diameter of the converging lens by three degrees or more so that the unwanted radiation from the in-vehicle lens antenna is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
