PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference mold which has a high dimensional accuracy and in which fine work of a spacer shape can be carried out, and a manufacturing method of this reference mold. SOLUTION: The reference mold 70 for manufacturing a forming die used for manufacture of a spacer structure of SED comprises a plate member 74 formed by a metal material and a spacer portion 72 formed by a plurality of pieces of resin material which become a matrix of the spacer. An adherence layer in which a metal powder 76 is mixed in an adhesive is provided at the inner face 75a of a plurality of spacer forming holes 75 of the plate member 74, and the resin material is filled up and hardened.
