PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extensible temple of spectacles which is adjustable in length, is easily adjustable in a short period of time and does not impair the appearance of the frame of spectacles. SOLUTION: The temple for eyeglasses comprises a temple body 9 and a temple member 10. The screw portion 13 of the temple member is fitted into the hole 16 of the fitting portion 15 disposed at the tip part of the temple body 9, an adjustment nut 11 is screwed to the screw portion 13, and the length of a screw portion 13 of the temple member 10 to be fitted into a fitting portion 15 is adjusted. The fitting portion 15 is provided with a guide groove 17 in an axial direction to prevent the rotation of the screw portion 13 fitted into the hole 16 and a lock nut 12 is fastened to the screw portion 13 of the adjustment nut 11 to connect and fix the temple body 9 and the temple member 10.
