PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with a dot type data imprinting function which is inexpensive and less in quality degradation. SOLUTION: The camera with the function of imprinting data onto a film includes a light emitting group having a plurality of light emitting elements which are turned on as the film is fed and imprint data onto the film, and an imprinting optical system for imaging the emitted light from the imprinting light emitting part onto the film. As for the plurality of light emitting elements, a light emitting element smaller than that used for a part where an amount of blur of the imprinting optical system is small is used for a part where an amount of blur of the imprinting optical system is large so that the images formed on the film by the light emitting elements via the imprinting optical system have almost the constant size.
