PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation structure for building thereby resisting against vibration caused by medium/strong seismic intensities due to earthquakes or strong winds. SOLUTION: This seismic isolation structure has dampers made by elastic members arranged radially between an inner frame and an outer frame which are placed at several places of mat foundation having a flat bottom surface; also a mat foundation with a strut inserted to an inner frame of the dampers are formed on a flat top surface below the mat foundation and gravel having similar grading is laid in one layer in this seismic isolation structure.
