PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Si based Al alloy sheet which secures a formability by lowering a proof stress at the time of press forming, and the proof stress is increased due to an age hardening by coating/baking treatment for a panel after a forming process to secure the required strength, and which has an excellent baking finish hardenability. SOLUTION: The Al-Mg-Si based aluminum alloy sheet contains 0.2 to 2.5% Mg and 0.3 to 2.0% Si, and the balance Al with impurities. In a differential scanning thermal analysis curve after a tempering treatment, the peak height W<SB>1</SB>of heat generation in the temperature range of 100 to 200°C is≥50μW, and also, the ratio of the peak height W<SB>2</SB>of heat generation in the temperature range of 200 to 300°C to the peak height W<SB>1</SB>of the heat generation, W<SB>2</SB>/W<SB>1</SB>is≤20.0.
