PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having a good transparency and a high rigidity, and a molded article. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin having an alicyclic structure and an organized lamellar crystal compound, exhibiting at least 80% light transmittance when being molded to the article having 200 mm optical path length.
