PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive member that is released from a release paper without touching the surface at the adhesion side, is to be attached to another body while keeping a clean state as it is without touching the adhesion side and is readily released from release paper and improves efficiency of operation and speeds up operation. SOLUTION: The adhesive member is obtained by successively laminating a protecting sheet 4 having an adhesive layer 4a on one side, a release sheet 13, a double-sided adhesive member 2 having adhesive layers on both sides and a fitting member 1 having the same contour shape as the peripheral side part 20 of the double-sided adhesive member 2. The release sheet 13 has a first slit S<SB>1</SB>of a deep cut which is obtained by dividing the peripheral side part 20 of the double-sided adhesive member 2 into two parts and formed along one side part 20a of the divided two parts and a second slit S<SB>2</SB>for separation which is connected to both the end parts of the first slit S1 and is formed by crossing a sheet surface 13a corresponding to the fitting member 1.
