PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive an arbitrary channel through easy operation by using existing television broadcast facilities for community reception. SOLUTION: A device is equipped with a remote controller 20 which selects an arbitrary transponder number of a satellite broadcast, an upconverter 31 which oscillates a frequency signal corresponding to a choice made by the remote controller 20 and superposes it on a transmitted signal to obtain a signal including an intermediate frequency signal corresponding to the selected transponder number of the satellite broadcast, a BS/CS tuner 35 which selects the intermediate frequency number with the transponder number selected in the upconverted signal and selects a channel of the arbitrary satellite broadcast from the intermediate frequency signal with the selected transponder number, and a control part 32 which totally controls the upconverter 31 and BS/CS tuner 35.
