<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a polyester film for forming excellent in formability upon thermoforming, in particular formability at a low temperature, in elasticity and in shape stability when used at a room temperature condition as a formed product, and having superior transparency and light resistance, and to provide a forming member for a dummy vessel by forming the film. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film comprises a copolymerized polyester that is synthesized from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component containing ethylene glycol, a branched aliphatic glycol and/or an alicyclic glycol. The polyester film for forming has a ratio (H/d) of haze H (%) to thickness d (μm) of <0.010, a stress of the film, when elongated 100% in a longitudinal direction and in a width direction, of≥10 MPa and <180 MPa at 25°C, and 1-100 MPa at 100°C, and has a light transmission rate of≤50% at a wavelength of 380 nm.
