PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety razor with a whetstone device that significantly lengthens the life of a disposable razor by sharpening the edge of the razor by a simply structured whetstone. SOLUTION: The safety razor has a whetstone device that sharpens the edge (6) by attaching a cartridge cover (2) to a spare blade cartridge (1) in a razor head, inserting the whetstone (4) from a square window portion (3) provided on the surface side of the cartridge, applying the whetstone (4) to the edge (6) of the razor, and transversely moving by applying a fixed pressure by using the window portion (3) as a guide groove.
