PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display device of which the packaging volume can be reduced by making its stand section bendable at the time of shipping from a factory. SOLUTION: The thin display device which is fixed at its main part back to the top ends of stand struts is equipped with the stand struts 8 and 9 which are bisected one above the other, a connecting fitting 10 which is projected in the axial central portion of a parting plane of the stand strut 8, a long hole 10b which is formed in the axial direction of the stand strut at the front end of the connecting fitting 10, a connecting pin 14 which is inserted into the base end side of the long hole 10b in the state of the connecting fitting 10 held inserted into the stand strut 9 and is supported at both ends thereof at the stand strut 9, and bolts 17 and 18 which are freely removably inserted into the stand strut 9 from its outer side on the front en side of the long hole 10b in the state that the connecting fitting 10 is inserted into the stand strut 9 by abutting on the each other's parting planes of the stand struts 8 and 9 and of which the front ends are screwed to the stand strut 9.
