PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the shortening of the lifetime of an actuator, without greatly changing the operating conditions of a camera. SOLUTION: The camera includes a means of controlling photographing with an actuator incorporated in the camera, and a means of deciding the presence or the absence of a photographic recording medium. A moving member is moved by the photographing control means.
