PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional private branch exchange that a load on CPU processing (software processing) is increased because an interruption interval with respect to reception processing becomes extremely short in communication at a high speed. SOLUTION: A DMA resource assignment method assigns at least one DMA device section or more to DMA control from a DMA resource when a communication speed exceeds a threshold value, assigns the assigned DMA device section more preferentially to reception processing than transmission processing and can reduce a frequency of interruption from hardware to a CPU so as to prevent the deterioration of the performance of software.
