PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which speeds up memory access without deteriorating image quality of input image data. SOLUTION: The image processing device 100 comprises a band buffer memory 17 which can store image data represented by a plurality of color spaces; a band buffer control unit 16 which stores image attribute information including color information on each picture element of the input image data and color space identification information for identifying the color space of each picture element, in a consecutive n-byte region inside a band buffer memory 17 for each picture element, when the input image data input from a host computer 11 is stored in the band buffer memory 17; and a color conversion processor which converts the image data stored in the band buffer memory 17 into image data represented by a YMCK color space required by a printer, according to the image data and the color space identification information stored in the band buffer memory 17.
