PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information relating to the position of a mobile terminal timely together with broadcasting data by a digital broadcasting system targeting mobile terminals. SOLUTION: The composite broadcasting system is equipped with broadcasting systems 1004 and 1005 which send out broadcasting data composed of a data broadcast, video, audio, or their combination, a mobile terminal 1001 which receives and displays the broadcasting data, a positioning system 1002 which measures the position of the mobile terminal, an information providing system 1003 which provides information for the mobile terminal, and bidirectional communication systems 1006, 1007 and 1008 which communicate data between the mobile terminal and information providing system in two ways. The mobile terminal transmits the positioning information of the mobile terminal obtained from the positioning system to the information providing system, which transmits related information relating to the positioning information to the mobile terminal, so that the mobile terminal displays the related information together with the broadcasting data.
