PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic signal amplification control apparatus for automatically amplifying an input signal to have prescribed signal strength that stably amplifies the input signal whose signal strength is widely changed to have the prescribed signal strength and outputs the amplified signal. SOLUTION: The automatic signal amplification control apparatus includes a plurality of amplifiers each amplifying the input signal and connected in cascade by a plurality of stages via each signal switching circuit; peak-hold circuits each holding a peak voltage of an output of each amplifier; and comparison circuits each detecting that an output of each peak hold circuit reaching a lower limit output voltage or below of each amplifier. The detection output of each comparison circuit controls each signal switching circuit to provide an output of each amplifier to the amplifier of its post-stage and a selection circuit sequentially switches outputs of the plurality of amplifiers and provides an output on the basis of each output of each comparison circuit.
