PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy drilling of concrete or the like under the roof with a drilling tool 2 by passing a mounting section for mounting the drilling tool 2 to the back side of a ceiling. SOLUTION: The rotating tool comprises a cylindrical mounting body 4 where the drilling tool 2 having a locking section 7 formed in a shank section 3 is inserted into the tip side, and a locking means 8 for preventing removal of the punching tool 2 inserted into the mounting body 4. A cylindrical cutter 13 is disposed on the tip side of the mounting body 4, and the outer diameters of the mounting body 4 and the locking means 8 are set at the outer diameter of the cylindrical cutter 13 or shorter.
