PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor which effectively utilizes an inner memory disposed within an endoscope processor and enhances maintainability and convenience. SOLUTION: The endoscope processor 1 to which a scope 2 for photographing an object is connected and which supplies illumination light to the connected scope and acquires image data by performing signal processing of the photographed signal acquired by the scope 2 and has at least an inner memory 14 for recording photographing history information. Preferably the inner memory 14 can record still image data. The still image data recorded within the inner memory 14 and the photographing history information can be confirmed by an arbitrary unit connected to an external portion, maintenance can be performed by the processor alone, and the maintainability can be improved.
