An armature (3) drives a switching element (2) and fits between first (4) and second (5) switchable electromagnets. The first electromagnet holds the armature in a first switching position (S1) and the second electromagnet holds the armature in a second switching position (S2). The switching element is a leaf spring firmly clamped on one fixed end (9). An independent claim is also included for a valve device for opening and closing gas paths in a valve housing.
