The holder has a base plate (3) with two vertically standing support plates (4, 5), in between which a power steering pump (2) is placed. Fixing bolts (13) are utilized to fasten the pump to the holder. Stiffeners (6-8) fix the support plate (4) to the base plate. Metal bushes (11) are embedded in the area where the base plate is fixed to a motor block, and in the area where the support plates are fixed to the pump.
