<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide molded charcoal which uses south-sea wood represented by lauan or the like, is easily ignited, and has a high calorific value. <P>SOLUTION: White coal consisting mainly of south-sea wood is obtained only by mixing (A) south-sea wood fine pieces having particle diameters of 1 to 4 mm with (B) the fine pieces of wood selected from pine, Cryptomeria japonica, palm shells, bamboo, oak, and white cedar, and (C) a porous ceramic having a particle diameter of 1 to 50μm, and then passing the mixture through an ordinary Ogalite / white charcoal-producing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
