PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system with which connection propriety to an intranet in a company can be authenticated by centralizing different connection paths and a plurality of companies. SOLUTION: When users U1, U2 and the like access one of authentication request sources RS1, RS2, WL, VPN and APS, the authentication request source acquires attribute information being the object of authentication from the user. The authentication request source transmits user attribute information and self-attribute information to the authentication processing system S. The authentication processing system S authenticates the user by referring to recorded authentication necessary information V on the basis of combination of received attribute information being the object of authentication and attribute information of the authentication request source. Since propriety of authentication is decided on the basis of combination of user attribute information and authentication request source attribute information, an authentication processor can perform centralized management when the objects of authentication belong to the different groups (company, department or the like) and authentication methods differ depending on the groups.
