PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a position on the imaging plane of an imaging element and a position on the focusing plane of a focusing screen to each other with high precision. SOLUTION: A mirror unit 20 is mounted on a unit holder 21 having a reference lens 13 and a subject image formed on the focusing screen of the mirror unit 20 is picked up by a video scope 30. When a quick-return mirror 22 is at a 1st position, an image of a chart 11 on the focusing screen 26 is picked up by the video scope 30 and when the quick-return mirror 22 is at a 2nd position, the image of the chart 11 is picked up by a CCD 37. The images acquired by the 1st and 2nd imaging operations are used to detect a relative position shift of the CCD 37 from the chart 11 and a relative position shift of the focusing screen 26 from the chart 11.
