PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotate a valve shaft in accompany with the rotation of an adjustment rod without using a connecting rod. SOLUTION: A valve casing having a valve chest 5 inside, is formed by screwing and connecting a cover 4 with a main body 3 having an inlet 1 and an outlet 2, a valve element fitting hole 7 and a valve port 8 smaller than the valve element fitting hole 7 are formed between the valve chest 5 and the outlet 2, a valve shaft fitting hole 18 is formed on the adjustment rod 17 screwed and connected with the cover 4, a valve shaft 12 displaceably fitted into the valve element fitting hole 7 on its one end side, and having a valve element 13 to open and close the valve port 8 is displaceably fitted to a valve shaft fitting hole 18 on the other end side, a blade 15 is mounted on a part of the valve shaft 12 opposite to a depth wall 14 of the valve element fitting hole 7 where the valve port 8 is opened, a bimetal laminated body 26 as a temperature sensitive member is mounted around the valve shaft 12, a peripheral wall 18a of the valve shaft fitting hole has a polygonal non-circular cross-section, and a part fitted to the valve shaft fitting hole 18 of the valve shaft 12 to be rotated in accompany with the rotation of the adjustment rod 17 has a polygonal non-circular cross-section.
