PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage to current converter capable of controlling a gain without changing a performance parameter such as current consumption and output linearity. SOLUTION: The voltage to current converter adapted to generate an output current, comprising an output DC bias current I<SB>B1</SB>and an output signal current i<SB>out</SB>is added to a bias stage, an input DC bias voltage is generated and fed to a signal stage of said converter and while a gain change resistor is changed, said input DC bias voltage is changed to keep the output DC bias current I<SB>B1</SB>constant, thereby solving the problem.
