PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of an engaging shock when changing a rotating direction in a power transmission using a two-way clutch. SOLUTION: A cylindrical inner surface 7 is formed at an outer ring 1, and a cam surface 8 is provided at the outer periphery of an inner ring 3. A first cage A<SB>1</SB>and a second cage A<SB>2</SB>are combined with one side face of an annular part 9 so that a pillar part 10 of the other cage is arranged between pillar parts 10, and both cages are built in to arrange the pillar parts 10 between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 3. A pocket 11 is provided at the position corresponding to the cam surface 8 between the pillar part 10 of the first cage and the pillar part 10 of the second cage, and a pair of rollers 12a, 12b and an elastic member 13 are built in the pocket 11. The first cage A<SB>1</SB>and the second cage A<SB>2</SB>are relatively rotated by a motion converting mechanism 20 to arrange the pair of rollers 12a, 12b in stand-by positions engaged with the cylindrical inner surface 7 and the cam surface 8, and one roller is immediately engaged according to the rotating direction of the inner ring 3 to prevent the occurrence of the engaging shock when changing the rotating direction of the inner ring 3.
