PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which displays data on a display apparatus and can be utilized by a user without giving the user any irritation. SOLUTION: There is a case in which a start time after the second information processing apparatus (32) is started until the second display data of a second information processing apparatus (32) are displayed on a display apparatus (2) is longer than a start time after the first information processing apparatus (31) is started until the first display data of a first information processing apparatus (31) are displayed on the display apparatus (2). When a user operates the first switch of a start switch section of an operation unit (3), the display apparatus (2) displays the first display data after the user operates the first switch until the second information processing apparatus (32) becomes available. Since the user can utilize the first information processing apparatus (31) until the second information processing apparatus (32) becomes available (e.g., TV viewing) in this way, the user can utilize the information processing apparatus disclosed herein without suffering irritation.
