PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage body having high bulk density and ensuring a pore volume of micropores or mesopores, its manufacturing method and a hydrogen storage tank using the hydrogen storage body. SOLUTION: This hydrogen storage body 14 is constituted of a core part 14b including a bent carbon nano-tube and a shell part 14a having the core part 14b provided therein and including the oriented carbon nano-tube.
