PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum type secondary tea rolling dryer sufficiently performing rolling action on tea leaves without changing a relative rotational speed ratio of a rolling handle to a drum. SOLUTION: This rotary drum type secondary tea rolling dryer has a drum 1 formed in an almost cylindrical shape so as to hold tea leaves and rotatable around the axis, a rotatable rotary axis 2 extended to the axial direction of the drum 1, a plurality of rolling handles 3 set in the longitudinal direction of the rotary axis 2, rotatable with the rotation of the rotary axis 2 in the drum 1 and scratching up while applying rolling action to the tea leaves in the drum 1, and a gas heating device 4 sending hot air to the axial direction in the drum 1 and drying the tea leaves. The rolling handles 3 adjacent to each other are attached one by one to the rotary axis 2 at 60 degree angle in the rolling dryer which rotates and turns the drum 1 and the rolling handles 3 at a relative speed of given ratio.
