<p>The invention relates to a smart card comprising a patterned base and to the production method thereof. The inventive production method comprises the following steps consisting in: producing a card body (30) having a cavity that opens onto an upper face thereof; and connecting a module (20) to the wall of the cavity, said module comprising a support film (21) bearing a microcircuit (22) on an inner face thereof. Moreover, the aforementioned module is fixed to part of the cavity wall by means of a fixing material (24) which adheres thereto and which at least indirectly coats the microcircuit (22). The invention is characterised in that, prior to connecting the module (20) to the cavity wall, the area immediately adjacent to said part of the wall is marked such as to form a pattern (60) thereon that is detectable from the lower face of the card body. In addition, pattern-identifying information can be recorded in the microcircuit.</p> |
