<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wasteful cost at the time of exchange and to allow a user to easily exchange consumables. <P>SOLUTION: A printer for continuous paper is constituted of a first housing, an ejection drive roller a shaft of which is supported by the first housing with self-weight, a second housing which is supported by the first housing so as to be movable between a first position and a second position, and an ejection follower roller which is supported by the second housing so as to be rotatable. When the second housing is moved to the first position, a shaft of the ejection drive roller is abutted on the first housing and the second housing so as to be rotatably supported.
