<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hammer of a piano with which richer sound volume can be obtained without changing the tone of performance sound. <P>SOLUTION: The hammer 1 of a piano is turned interlocked with the pressing of a key 10 thereby striking a string S to generate the performance sound, and the hammer 1 is equipped with a bar-shaped hammer shank 2 which is attached at an end part to be freely rotatable and is formed so that the width becomes larger toward another end part and a hammer head 3 which is provide at the other end part of the hammer shank 2 and which strikes the string S by being turned together with the hammer shank 2 in accordance with the pressing of the key 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
