<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door illumination device allowing a user to easily confirm the motion of a door when it is opened or closed. <P>SOLUTION: The door illumination device where a back lamp 16 is installed on the door of a vehicle, is structured so that the lighted condition of the back lamp 16 is changed in accordance with the open/close condition of the door after being opened.
