PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact power transmitter capable of performing noncontact charging of a portable telephone, or the like, easily at a visiting place. SOLUTION: The noncontact power transmitter comprises a power transmitter 11 functioning as a charger, a power transmitter/receiver 12 functioning as a charger and including a secondary battery 123, and a power receiver 13 including a secondary battery 134. The power transmitter/receiver 12 is used as the power supply for a portable computer, and the power receiver 13 is used as the power supply for a portable telephone. The power transmitter 11 forms a noncontact power transmitter by coupling electromagnetically with the power transmitter/receiver 12 or the power receiver 13 and charges the secondary battery 123 or 134 depending on the coupling. The power transmitter/receiver 12 forms a noncontact power transmitter by coupling electromagnetically with the power receiver 13 and charges the secondary battery 134 included in the power receiver 13.
