PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram reproducing device in which signal to noise ratio of reproduced light beams is made constant while decoding the reproduced light beams and to provide a hologram reproducing method and a hologram recording medium. SOLUTION: A metric between a detected signal value and an estimated signal value of each bit in the reproduced light beams detected by a detector 8 based on an SN-ratio measured by an SN-ratio measurement part 18 is compensated for in accordance with the location of bit information recorded in a hologram recording medium M.
