TUBULAR LIGHT EMITTER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular light emitter with reduced drive power voltage to start up generation of surface light emission in which environmental load is reduced by refraining from enclosing of mercury or from using mercury alloy material. SOLUTION: The tubular light emitter 21 which contains the exterior electrode 3 consisting of transparent or translucent tubular body 1 and a conductor along the longitudinal direction of the tubular body 1, an interior electrode 2 consisting of a conductor along the longitudinal direction of the center part of the tubular body 1, a porous light emitter 7 filled in a gap between the tubular body 1 and the interior electrode 2 containing at least phosphor particles 6 is actuated to emit light by impressing voltage between the exterior electrode 3 and the interior electrode 2.
