PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device which shuts off energization of an instantaneous heating means when the heating means undergoes abnormal heating, to thereby prevent spouting of high-temperature water. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the toilet device, part of a heating channel 24 of the instantaneous heating means 21 is formed of a heat sensitive plate 28, and therefore abnormally raised temperature is positively transmitted in an instance to a safety device (temperature fuse) 26 via the heat sensitive plate 28. Thus the responsiveness of the toilet device to the temperature change is improved, and the instantaneous heating means 21 instantaneously shuts off energization at the time of abnormal heating, to thereby prevent spouting of the high-temperature water.
