PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket capable of increasing transportation efficiency and the service life of conveyor chains of a bucket elevator in which two conveyor chains are stretched across a drive sprocket and a driven sprocket at the predetermined interval and a plurality of buckets are installed between the conveyor chains at equal pitches. SOLUTION: Projected spaces 14 and 14 are formed by partly extending side walls to the outside of both conveyor chains 12 and 12 to increase a volume. An internal space as viewed from an opening side is formed in a roughly T-shape to reduce a clearance between the side plates of a conveyor casing to reduce deposit 17 accumulating at the bottom part thereof.
