PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine constituted so as to increase and decrease light emitting luminance by an illumination means provided in the game machine as needed. SOLUTION: A slot machine 100 is constituted so as to execute prescribed performance by driving the illumination means (103a, 104a, 104b and 106) provided in game machine bodies (101 and 102), and is provided with illuminance detection means (121 and 112) for detecting illuminance around the game machine body and luminance change means (114 and 115) for changing the light emitting luminance of the illumination means corresponding to the illuminance detected by the illuminance detection means. Thus, it becomes possible to appropriately set and change the light emitting luminance at the time of performance by an illumination device equipped in the game machine so as to adapt it to brightness inside a game parlor corresponding to the illuminance different in each game parlor or depending on time bands inside the same parlor.
