ARMREST APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest apparatus with improved operability. SOLUTION: A turnable lever 14 is provided projecting forward from the rear part of a case 11 provided vertically movably with respect to a seat. A locking mechanism 41 is provided for locking the movability of the case 11 to the seat by the downward turning of the lever 14 and unlocking the movability of the case 11 to the seat by the upward turning of the lever 14. Unlocking of the case 11 to the seat and operation of the vertical movement of the case 11 to the seat can be performed consecutively by allowing an operator to grip the case 11 and the lever 14 with his/her single hand, thereby the operability is improved.
