<p>A radiation detector comprises a main body (1) and a radiation detection probe (2) removably attached to the front end of the main body (1). The probe (2) includes a detection unit (3) for receiving a radiation detection element (7), a cap-like shield member (6) mounted on the detection unit (3) in such a manner as to cover the front end thereof, and a probe cover (4) for receiving the detection unit (3) and shield member (6). The front end of the main body (1) is provided with a connector (10) capable of threadedly attaching the probe (2). The front end of the shield member (6) is provided with a collimator (6A) for collimating the incident radiations.</p> |
