<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an airbag device capable of stabilizing a behavior of a bag body at the time of deployment, and reducing impact that the bag body adds to an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: The bag body 11 is provided, which inflates between the occupant seated in a seat 50 and a vehicular side portion 60 when collision is inputted in a vehicle. A stabilizing chamber 23 is provided, which is fixed to the bag body 11, and inflates earlier than the air bag body 11 to stabilize a deployment behavior of the bag body 11. When the bag body 11 and the stabilizing chamber 23 inflate, an air layer 24 inside of the bag body 11 is interposed between the stabilizing chamber 23 and an occupant side wall portion 11a of the bag body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
