<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage management system for imposing limitations on passage into areas, where carrying in of hazardous materials is restricted by registering the hazardous materials carried on by passers at the entrance. <P>SOLUTION: A personal identification terminal 1a prepared at the reception of a passage management area and personal identification devices 2a, 2b, which are prepared at each area in the passage management area and set a belongings limitation level performing personal identification information reading and door locking/unlocking control of the area, are connected to a center device 1 via a network 6. The personal identification information of the passer read by the personal identification terminal at the reception at the entry of the passer, and personal information registered data constituted of belongings level of the passer input by an operator are created, and they are distributed to each personal identification device. When the personal identification information of the passer is read by each personal identification device, the door is opened for a given length of time, when the read personal identification information is in the distributed personal information registration data and the carry-in belongings level, corresponding to that is lower than the carry-in belongings limitation level set in the personal identification device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
