PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture toner with stable quality as for an electrophotographic toner or the like to be used for an instrument, utilizing electrophotographic process. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing an electrophotographic toner containing a coloring agent and a binder resin essentially comprising a crystalline resin, the method includes an aggregation step S11 of mixing and aggregating at least a resin particle dispersion liquid, having dispersion of particles of a crystalline resin having a carboxylic acid group and having physical properties of 6.0 to 10.0 for the pH and -60 mV to -30 mV for the zeta potential, with a colorant particle dispersion liquid having dispersion of colorant particles to obtain an aggregation particle dispersion liquid having dispersion of aggregated particles, comprising a mixture of the crystalline resin particles and the colorant particles; and a fusion step S12 of heating and fusing the aggregation particle dispersion liquid, to obtain toner particles.
